I think there is a virus lurking on my thumb drive.
I've got one of those sticks of memory, we call 'em thumb drives, and whenever I try to transport a Microsoft Word document on it it encodes the file in some format that I can't read. I lost an afternoon's worth of work on a really good essay because of that. Had to retype the whole thing. Technology is wonderful, but I really wish it wouldn't break so often and so frustratingly.
Other than that, life is good.
